Refund & Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your reservation and it is refundable, we will process the refund to the same payment method used for booking. Typically, after the refund gets approved, the money is sent within 7 to 10 working days. Nevertheless, the time it takes for the money to show up in your account can be different depending on your bank or the payment service provider.

Cancellation or modification of the booking can be done only by contacting Birla Dharmshala through the details available on our website. Cancellations will be considered and refunds given as per the applicable terms of the booking at the time of the reservation. Refunds depend on the room category, the type of booking, promotional offers, and the time of cancellation before the scheduled check-in date.

Bookings made on our website either directly or through a third party can be cancelled by creating a cancellation request via the details available on the website.

We understand that plans can change, and cancelling a booking can be a part of it. That’s why we’ve designed our refund & cancellation policy to be down to earth and customer-friendly. At the same time, it sets a fair balance between the interests of our guests and the hotel.

Refunds may not be possible in some cases where the customer does not show up, has cancelled the booking after the allowed time for cancellation, or the booking was made under non-refundable promotional offers.

Payment gateway charges, taxes, or transaction fees may be deducted if required.

Changing booking dates or room category is possible only if the guests inform us as soon as possible. However, modification requests are always subject to availability of rooms and the new rates at the time of request. We will do our best to fulfil the requests but cannot guarantee it.

If the bookings are made via third-party travel websites or online travel agencies, then cancellation and refund requests need to be made directly through that platform and will be subject to their policies.
